Hi I'm Matt Starr

I am from good ol' Fruitland, a small town in Idaho. I am excited about life and love to live in the now. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As displayed in my introduction, I'm Matt, I've lived in Idaho for about eleven years. I love to snowboard, film and edit videos, and spend quality time with my family and friends. I graduated from high school in 2013, and I am preparing to serve a full time mission in the Phillippines!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member in this church for all of my life, I was born into it. I watched a lot of family members take very trying, damaging, and dark paths with their lives, and through that, and the examples of my leaders and parents, I was able to decide for myself that I wanted to live the life of Christ's gospel, and to do what is right. I gained a strong testimony of the church and its blessings in this life, as well as the life after this one, through those experiences.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community/ward by serving in leadership positions in my ward and in my school. I try my best to be friendly to everyone and to not be judgmental based on appearances, past actions or whatever. I try to be an example to those who are younger than myself and who may see me as a role model (simply because I'm older), like I looked at the "older, cooler" kids when I was young.
