Hi I'm Jess

I grew up in the Great Northwest, I'm nineteen, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica. I'm the youngest of five children. I graduated from high school last year, and now I'm currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Colorado Denver North Mission. I love to swim, play volleyball, read, and learn more about the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it. I know this church is true and I have received so many blessings from faithfully attending all church meetings. I feel at peace as soon as I walk into the front doors of the church. I've been a member my entire life, but it wasn't until the last year or so when I became actually converted to the gospel. That was when I actually prayed for myself to know that the Church is true, that Joseph was a Prophet called by God, and that the Book of Mormon is true. This was important for me because I guess I borrowed my testimony from my parents, because I was young, but I really needed to know for myself that it is all true. And I recieved an answer. I just felt so warm inside, and I knew that was the Heavenly Father telling me that the Church is true. This experience changed the way I looked at the Gospel. I would read the scriptures because I knew I was supposed to, but now I read the scriptures because I have a desire to know more of Him. As a missionary, my testimony strengthens every single day as I teach people how to draw closer to Christ. I love this Church so much, I couldn't even imagine it now being in my life, and that is the reason why I'm serving for 18 months. So that others can feel the same joy that I do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel as a missionary in the Colorado Denver North Mission.
