Hi I'm Juan Bedolla

I love a good laugh, I'm a Nevadan at heart and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Simply put, I'm a silly person who can't get enough of the cold. I'm a student at the University of Nevada, Reno, and I want to study to become a psychologist. I love getting the chance to get to know new people and develop friendships wherever I go. I have a healthy sense of humor, and puns are my best friends. I'm almost always open to new things, I'm fond of adventures and I love food. In the spring of 2012, I wanted to develop a closer relationship with God, and I wasn't sure quite how. That same season, the missionaries showed up in my life, and I began taking the lessons. Little by little, I began to realize that the things the missionaries were teaching me were true, and I began to discover and understand God's great plan for all of us. About one year after I began my quest to become friends with God, I was baptized. In retrospect, I realized that my loving Heavenly Father knew I was ready to receive the fullness of the gospel during that time of my life, and I am grateful for the priceless spiritual gifts I've been blessed with thus far. I am currently serving in the Colorado Denver South Mission as a full time missionary, and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am fully convinced that I have learned more about God's love for all of mankind by living the full and restored gospel. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a disciple of Christ, and I always do my best to be the example He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trusting the promptings I get through the Spirit. Living the commandments makes it easier to get those promptings, and it makes life way better. I am more than completely aware that I am imperfect. I am always improving to become more like my Savior, and even though I know I can't be perfect in this life, it doesn't discourage me from trying.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Juan Bedolla
Getting to know our Father in Heaven is humbling and comforting. Through prayer and diligent scripture study, anyone can develop a relationship with God. Keeping His commandments brings blessings and not only makes it much easier to learn more about Him, but about His unfailing love for all of us. Show more Show less
