Hi I'm Peter

I'm from Portland, I'm going on a mission to Denver, Colorado, speaking the best language, Spanish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy reading, although I have pretty bizarre literary tastes. I also enjoy almost all types of music, both listening to it and performing it--I play the Piano (sort of), and I really like singing, both just by my self and in choirs. After my mission, I'll be going to college at Stanford University, although I'm still deciding what to study.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I'm a pretty intellectual, analytical person, I sometimes think that if I wasn't born into the church, I probably wouldn't be a Mormon right now. But I was, and I am so incredibly grateful for that. I'm a Mormon because I have felt Heavenly Father's love for me, and his answers to my prayers. I have felt the wonderful feeling of forgiveness that comes through Jesus Christ's atonement, and I've felt the Holy Ghost tell me that the teachings of the Book of Mormon are true. I'm a Mormon because living the commandments of the Church has blessed my life.

How I live my faith

About two and a half weeks from when I'm writing this, I'll be living my faith by serving my Heavenly Father on a full-time mission for him. I live my faith by trying to be kind to others and by serving them, trying to see them as God sees them.
