Hi I'm Kiley

I believe that life is an adventure and that there's not enough time to be anything but happy! And I'm a mormon! =]

About Me

I love to read and write and hope to one day become a published author. I love to paint and sketch, even though it's not my strong point, I still enjoy it. I also enjoy watching movies. I spend a lot of time baking an d cooking as well. I will be attending college in not too long studying nursing and I hope to specialize in pediatrics. I love to learn but math isn't my strong point. I also enjoy listening to music as well as singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but I'm a Mormon because I can't imagine that God doesn't love and care for His children. All of His children. I'm a Mormon because finding out that God gave His son so that I could live, and that Christ would go through it all again for me, that I am that important to Him gives me hope and I strive to be better because of it. And in a world that seems to do everything it can to take hope, I cherish it. I'm a Mormon because it pushes me to be the best me I could possibly be and at the end of the day, I'm not ashamed of the way I've lived. I'm a Mormon because too many things have happened at the exact day and the exact moment that I needed them most that saved me, because of those things I know God's out there and that He's aware of me. No matter how insignificant and small I feel. I'm also a Mormon because of the peace I've found that I've never found anywhere else. I'm a Mormon because I feel the Spirit testify it to me every time I read The Book of Mormon and listen to the Prophet. And anymore, it feels like the world tries to tear you down and make you afraid and this gospel strives to build you up and give you a happiness that will last through the good days and the bad. And last of all, I'm a Mormon because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, that a mistake doesn't mean the end of my story. Because Christ knew I wouldn't be perfect but he gave me a way to try again, and that means the world to me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an LDS mission in the South Carolina Columbia mission. I love spreading the gospel and helping lift those around me. Serving the people around me is one of my favorite things to do. I live my faith by example, I try to be the kind of representative my Savior would want me to be and I try to emulate that in the way that I speak and act. I try and be positive and optimistic in all that I do and in the encounters I have with other people because I know this church is full of hope and can bring anyone happiness. I used to teach the young women in our ward and I also helped organize activities for the youth, and I love living my faith!
