Hi I'm Chris

Born and raised in Las Vegas. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Chris. And I love anything that has to do with computers. My dream is to become a graphic designer and be hired at Apple Computers. Growing up in Vegas to escape the sins that surround that city I'd often hang out with friends of my own faith. Going to Institute and Young Single Adult activities were always a blast. Working at Deseret Industries I would always run into people which would help prepare me for talking to tons of people on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is Jesus Christ' church again established on the earth. I stand by my testimony that I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he did see God and his son Jesus Christ. He did restore this church and he did translate the Book of Mormon. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our current living prophet and that Jesus is at the head of our church today revealing his word to President Monson.

How I live my faith

I recently finished serving as a missionary in the Montana Billings Mission half a year ago. I've never have felt so much happiness in my life when I was in Montana sharing the gospel with everyone I came in contact with. As has everyone else has, I've seen the Atonement work in my life. And I desire that for everyone I come into contact with. I had a calling on the Young Single Adult committee helping plan events. It was always a blast! I've been able to befriend several famous Mormons. I've seen their example as how much they desire to follow the Lord. I also live it by keeping commandments. I know that as I strive to follow such things as the Word of Wisdom, Law of Chastity, etc. I can recognize the blessings in my life. Being an endowed member I recognize the importance of keeping close to those covenants I've made in the temple. I was lucky enough to be raised in the church. I have parents that love me and know who I can become.

What is being a Mormon like?

It is wonderful! Many think that not drinking coffee, alcohol, or not smoking cigarettes means that we have less fun, but rather I have found that a successful life means abstaining from those things. I love the Church and love being a member of it! There are many blessings (temporal and spiritual) that I have seen in my life from being Mormon. Show more Show less
