Hi I'm Cody

I love music, playing guitar, riding roller coasters, and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm serving as a Mormon missionary in Florida, I'm excited to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to give my time and service to others. I enjoy music and I've taught myself how to play the guitar. I love art, portrait drawing, and I enjoy good home cooked meals. I have a passion for filmmaking and I love watching movies with my family. I grew up in the church and I have always believed in it's teachings and principles. I love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ, it shares his teachings and spreads his gospel. I've always known that the LDS church is the true church of Christ, I've never had any feelings of doubt. In learning of the church's teachings and doctrines, I've never questioned if what I was learning was wrong or not true. I've always felt the spirit of the Lord and I've always known that what I've learned and continue to learn about Jesus Christ and his teachings are true. Feeling the spirit of the Lord as I study his gospel, helps me to know that this church is true and that is why I'll always follow Jesus Christ and continue to be a member of his church, that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I've always been involved in church activities ever since I was young. I enjoy spending time with other members of the church, they are a huge second family to me. I've always tried to follow the gospel standards and live Christ's teachings. It's not easy with so many influences pulling people away from Christ's gospel, but with daily scripture study and going to church every Sunday, I've stayed strong in my faith and in keeping the Lord's commandments. I do my best to be an example of my faith and be a representative of Christ in my language, appearance, and actions. I know our Heavenly Father has a plan and purpose for all of us, and by living my faith I know I'm following God's plan.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being apart of the LDS church and Mormon culture is all about the teachings and gospel of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness. We keep high standards and follow God's commandments. Each Sunday during Sacrament meeting when we partake of the sacrament, we renew are baptismal covenants to the Lord. We earnestly try to live like Christ and serve others and share his gospel of love, charity, repentance and forgiveness. Being Mormon to me means following Christ in all we do. Show more Show less
