Hi I'm James

I'm a psychology student. I love talking to people. I also love working on computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm James, and I love people! I am a psychology student, and will graduate very quickly once I return from my mission! I have been called to serve in Nampa, Idaho, speaking the Spanish language. I am really excited for that opportunity to help build up His Kingdom. I love to tinker with software and try out programs on my computer. I also work at Jamba Juice. I love being able to share my faith with others, and will never shy away from a genuine question or desire to know more. I was raised LDS, fell away, and came back. I am so glad for all of the experiences I have had in my life to show me what life is like without the influence of His Gospel there, and I feel so blessed to have that Gospel in my life today. Ask me anything!

Why I am a Mormon

Why not! Heavenly Father has blessed me in so many ways. When I took a hiatus from the Church, I intended to soul search and do my best to find truth. The only place I have ever felt the truth as strongly as I do now, is in the LDS Church. Heavenly Father provided chances for me to test and experiment with my faith, and I KNOW, beyond any doubt, that this is Christ's Church. Joseph Smith, an imperfect man, was called of God to help bring forth this Church in order to prepare us to live with Heavenly Father again. I know that the Book of Mormon is a second testament of Christ's work and teachings in the Americas, and I know that He will come again someday. I urge all those who look for truth to come unto Christ, that you can find the happiness I know now. Look hard, use reason, but also rely on God and faith in Him and His son to help you find that truth.

How I live my faith

I am the senior home teaching companion, and my partner is a member who has been inactive, but is currently trying to attend more. Home teaching is a way for the ward to keep track of every member and make sure all needs of the ward members are attended to. We value each and every soul, and do our best to serve others. It has been a wonderful experience. I also am called as a ward missionary, and I love that calling! I have been blessed with several opportunities to share my testimony with others, and it has really helped prepare me for a mission in that sense. I also will substitute teach the four and five year old children sometimes. Those children are so Christlike, and I love being able to learn from them and love them through it all. These children really display those characteristics that Christ wanted when He asked us to become as little children.
