Hi I'm Brandon Chamberlain

I'm a musician, a photographer, a mountain biker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at Jordan High School in my hometown, Sandy, Utah. My school life consists of music, academics, and clubs. I've been playing the trumpet for eight years and it has given me amazing opportunities. I've been blessed to play concerts from New Orleans, to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, to Dallas, to the world renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. I love sharing music with others and hope to be able to continue to study music in college. However, before I get there, I am looking forward to serving a mission in Thailand! I leave this June and can't wait to share the joy I have from the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Thai people. Upon my return I hope to study music at Brigham Young University and then continue onto medical school somewhere outside of Utah. Along the way I hope to find a wife and establish a family of our own. I have a lot ahead of me and keep living every day loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings me joy and peace throughout life. I honestly believe it is the easiest way to live. That being said, it's definitely not easy but living life with the gospel is easier than living without. The rules and standards that we choose to live by in our church keep us safe from many dangers in the world that ruin lives and tear families apart. Because of this, I am grateful for how the gospel influences my life as I live by its principles each day. As a Mormon, I live life optimistically and continually find joy in the journey.

How I live my faith

I choose to follow Christ in my life every day by trying to exemplify the qualities and standards that He lived by. Every morning I wake up and pray to our Father in Heaven to ask for ways that I can help serve others and be an influence for good in the world. As I do that and learn more about the gospel each day, I am able to live life happily and help others to share in that same joy.
