Hi I'm Lynett Matu'u

I was born in Hawaii, raised in Utah. Going on a mission to Manila, Phillippines on November 8, 2013.

About Me

I'm half Samoan half Filipino, living the best of both worlds! I work at Nike which works out best for me because I'm going into Sport Medicine/Athletic Training. I absolutely love musical theater, it makes me happy. I've been involved with theater for 7 years, and continue to be involved with it. I've also been playing the piano for 10 years now, and make music.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that with the way I have been taught, through this gospel, I can live this life to the fullest and be eternally happy. I'm so grateful to have been born in this gospel because without it I would be lost. When I made the decision to serve a mission, I knew it was the right thing to do. My parents are converts and that's all because of missionary work. So I want to be a part of someone's family history just like the missionaries that converted my family.

How I live my faith

I've been called to serve a mission in the Manila Philippines mission. I report November 8, 2013. I'm very excited to go there because my mom is from there. A lot of people ask me why I'm going on a mission and my first response is always "I want to be able to share what I have with people that don't have it because life without this gospel would be so very difficult."
