Hi I'm Stephanie Pecjak

am half-Venezuelan. I love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I love to listen to it and dance to it and sing to it. I love the outdoors and to see all the beautiful creations that God has made. I am getting ready to serve a mission in Boise, Idaho and I am super excited! I currently work at Cafe Rio (yummy food) and love it. I am the oldest of 3 kids. I speak fluent Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts to the church. They were baptized in their teens, therefore I was born into the church. I've been raised with the standards, morals, and values of the church but there was a moment where I had to find out for myself if the church was true. As a young woman I decided to pray about the church and ask to see for myself if this gospel was true. I read the Book of Mormon and read Moroni's promise in Moroni 10:4-5 and I knelt down in prayer to ask Heavenly Father if the Book or Mormon is true. The feelings I had and the spirit that I felt gave me sure knowledge and assurance that this church is true and that the Book or Mormon is another testament of Christ and it is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith, at the young age of 14, knelt down and asked Heavenly Father which church was true. Through him the church was again restored and the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is now found on the earth. This gospel is amazing and has blessed my life and my family's as well. I can't wait to have the opportunity to share it with many other of Heavenly Father's children. I know it, I live, and I absolutely LOVE it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in a little Spanish Branch (small congregation with very few members) with my family. I am the Branch Chorister and the Primary (kids group) chorister. I also teach the sunbeams (4-6 year old kids). They are a joy to me and I love it. They teach me so much more than I teach them. I love serving in the branch because it has taught me to love others and that God loves ALL of his children in every nation, kindred, and tongue. The Lord has blessed my family very much while serving there and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve.
