Hi I'm Sorena

I love being a wife, mother, grandmother, and a Mormon.

About Me

My family is the most important thing in my life. I enjoy planning activities with them and playing board games with them. I have been doing family history research for 40 years and have experienced many miracles. It was a wonderful experience to travel to Sweden to see the homes of my ancestors. I enjoy reading, gardening, biking, knitting and crocheting in the cold months, and creating photo books. I had the fun experience of co-authoring children's activities books when my children were young. My Associate Degree in business has served me well in part-time jobs and serving on community boards and committees.

Why I am a Mormon

God's hand is very evident in the Mormon Church. Our president and prophet is inspired to warn, teach, and inspire us to do what will bring us closer to God. My church attendance was very sporadic as a child, but I always knew the truth was found there. I have been able to avoid many problems, hurtful things, and negative experiences because of my membership in the Mormon Church and the guidance it has given me throughout my life. Its teachings give me faith in eternal principles that bring great joy. I have come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ who loves us so much and wants our success in all ways. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who listens to my prayers and knows me personally as I see his divine signature in my life.

How I live my faith

Being active in participating in the Mormon Church has been such a blessing in my life. It has surrounded me with good people with high standards and a code of service to others. I have learned how to study, teach, listen, lead, serve, and find the best side of me.
