Hi I'm Megan

I love life. I love photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the lucky middle child of five kids. My family means everything to me and we continually create memories going on a wide range of outdoor adventures, cooking up a storm, and laughing about anything and everything. They are my closest friends and support me in all of my endeavors. I have always had a passion for photography and design. It has become so much a part of me that I can’t go anywhere without scouting out new locations or scenes to shoot. I love everything about it! I am currently finishing up my last two semesters of school at BYU-Idaho studying visual communication. I love what I do and am so excited to turn my passions into a career. Life is sweet.

Why I am a Mormon

God will answer any sincere desire to know what truth is. Sometimes these answers come with specific experiences, but more often they come little by little over time. I have studied the gospel out in my mind, asked God if it is true, and cannot deny the answers that I have received. Not only this, being a Mormon makes sense to me. It makes sense that families can be together forever after this life. It makes sense that just as God always has in the past, he calls living prophets to lead and guide our families. And it makes sense that as imperfect human beings, God would send us a savior to provide a way that we can repent, change, and return back to our loving Father. I served as a missionary for 18 months in Kentucky and it was apparent every single day that the world is increasingly in need of the fullness of the gospel. I observed first-hand people accept the gospel and experience a type of happiness they never knew before. I love being a Mormon, I love being a member of Christ’s restored church.

How I live my faith

Everything that I believe centers on my Savior, Jesus Christ. Life is hard. We go through unexpected challenges and heartaches that provide us the opportunity to draw closer to the one man who has suffered and felt absolutely everything that we go through. Without him I would be nowhere. When I am making a decision and need help, I get on my knees and ask. When I don’t feel I can continue, I plead for strength. When I feel alone, I talk to the one who knows me better than I know myself. He is always there. He will never leaves us alone. Prayer is amazing. It works.
