Hi I'm Jacob Achuo

I grew up in Cameroon . Presently in the USA. Use to be a police Officer. I am married and father of 4 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

So what can I tell you about myself? Well, I am educated from Primary, through Secondary, and High school . I went Pro and in the Police Career for 23 years. I moved to the USA and wanted to make a change. The options are many and the choices for a retiree are difficult to make. Why not continue in a career that does not demand a lot of physical exertion that is where I can just sit and do the job? So I think I can just do a lot of computerization and do some work at home.I have some knowledge on Data entering and much more. I can be of great help. Just contact me.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is once more on the Earth today. It was restored through the Prophet, seer and revelator Joseph Smith. This is where all worthy male members have the Holy Priesthood . They act in the name of the father, son, and the Holy Ghost. They work for the Lord's vineyard and bring Souls to the Kingdom of God. I am a Mormon because I feel the Spirit of the most High God in me. I worship him in Spirit and in truth. I believe in the son of God. I shall not die but live for eternity. I am a Mormon because I live the Law of chastity. I have repented of my sins, I have faith in the son of God, I was baptized by immersion and I received the Holy Spirit of God by the laying on hands by worthy male members of the Church and I am Confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, otherwise known as Mormon. I testify that Jesus is the son of God and is the Christ and the Book of Mormon is another Testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is seated at the right of God the Father....

How I live my faith

I live my faith as either a Peace officer, a conflict resolver, a farmer ,a shepherd or a goat herder. I nourish my faith with trust in the Lord God Almighty with all my heart, mind, spirit, body and soul. I know that he has all things and in order for these things to be given me, I must " seek his Kingdom and his righteousness." I know that he sent his only begotten son that if I believe in him I shall not perish, but have everlasting life." His word is truth. He can never lie. I beg to work in his vineyard if I am found worthy and magnify my calling, for all are missionaries to do our duty. His plan is a circle and his plan is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. The seed is planted and to increase my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I must read my scriptures daily, pray often, and renew my convenant on the Sabbath day by partaking of the sacrament, to keep his spirit to be with me always. The holy spirit will guide, protect, direct and comfort me as I go through the strait and narrow path and endure to the end. In Jesus' name, I love to be like him. I partook of the fruit and wish my family, friends and relatives to do so. Amen

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

Jacob Achuo
I know that friends will mock at me, provoke, scorn and even laugh when they know that I am a Mormon because they refer to Mormonism as a sect or an occult society(whatever their definition) but so long as Jesus Christ is the head of this "occult" or "Sect",I am a member because his teachings, Power and Authority has been restored on earth as in the former days.
