Hi I'm Elden Clarkson

I grew up in Spokane Washington. I've been called to serve the Lord in California. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born into the LDS church but I fell away when I was about 12. I was inactive and even apposing to the church for about 6 years, but thanks to home teachers and righteous friends I found the light of Christ. Ever since then I have done my best to clean my ways and serve the Lord to the best of my abilities!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Latter Day Saint of the Church of Jesus Christ because I have found it to be true. Nothing is more powerful than the love of God the eternal father and his son Jesus Christ, and I want nothing more than to show others the power of that love and how it can change their lives forever.

How I live my faith

When I was still a priest I was called to teach elders quorum. It was fairly difficult to me but as I turned to the Lord and listened to the spirit everything turned out ok. I am also a home teacher and being able to serve the families I have has been an immense blessing in itself. But most excitingly I have just received my call to serve a mission in California and I can't wait to bring others unto Christ!

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Elden Clarkson
I know that when you study the scriptures you studying the word of God. He gave the scriptures and Book of Mormon to us as a key to unlock the knowledge and wisdom to any questions we may have. For example, "What is my purpose here on Earth?", "What happens after we die?", "How can I find happiness?", or "Where do we come from?". I consider receiving answers to these questions a blessing. Other blessings you can look forward to by reading the word of God is comfort, hope, happiness, knowledge, wisdom, and hopefully you will eventually be able to see the love of Christ and how it works.
