Hi I'm Juan Javier Castaños

I'm a student, an adventurer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently attend Brigham Young University where I will major in Physiology and Developmental Biology. I plan on being a Chiropractor and being a certified Dietician and helping my community live healthy lives. I love to be active, but never neglect what is most important... education. The greatest learning, however, comes from learning about my relationship with my Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because when I read the Book of Mormon I feel my faith grow as I learn of the experiences of the "ancient inhabitants of the Americas." The promises of what I can gain from reading the Book of Mormon are true: Those who gain this divine witness from the Holy Spirit will also come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith is His revelator and prophet in these last days, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the Second Coming of the Messiah. (Introduction to the Book of Mormon) I have experienced this for myself, when I prayed to ask God if what I read was true. As described in the Book of Galatians, Chapter 5, Verses 22-23; I felt the Holy Spirit confirm God's answer to my prayer. Pure joy has been the only result since I have been living my life in harmony with the truth that I have received.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission! It is the greatest experience I have had in my life up to this point. There are no words to describe the feelings of joy that I have felt to see people and families enter the waters of baptism promising to follow Jesus Christ by keeping his commandments. I know of no better way of living my faith then by sharing it!
