Hi I'm Sean Hamilton

I grew up in California, I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in California and played Baseball throughout high school. I enjoy playing any kind of sports, camping, hiking. I really enjoy being outside. I'm going to school up in Idaho to study Mechanical Engineering. I am really out going and like to meet new people too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I accepted the "challenge of the Book of Mormon". I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon is really scripture and His word and if Joseph Smith was a prophet. Through the feelings that I received from the Holy Ghost, I was told that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Service has always been a very big part of my life. Growing up, my parents taught me to serve and to not look for anything in return. I also live my faith by studying the scriptures and praying to my Father in Heaven daily to strengthen the relationship I have with him.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Sean Hamilton
You can know that the Mormonism is true through the Book of Mormon. If the Book of Mormon is true, then Joseph Smith was a prophet and received the authority from God to restore not reform the church of Jesus Christ. You can know that the Book of Mormon is true by doing the same thing that I have done. I started to read the Book of Mormon, and my parents told me of something called "The Promise of the Book of Mormon" found in Moroni chapter 10 verses 4 & 5 which states: 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I took that to heart and prayed and asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon really is His word. He answered me, through the Holy Ghost, telling me that it is all true. I invite you to do the same. Read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it is true, God will answer you. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Sean Hamilton
No, in the words of Joseph Smith himself, "We only worship God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ". We respect Joseph Smith for being the man and prophet called of God to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for giving his life for the cause of truth but that is all. Show more Show less
