Hi I'm Clint Rittenhouse

I am from a little town in Arizona. I claim to have the best family ever. I love to serve. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

So a little about me. I grew up in Arizona, in a family of seven. My dad was a convert to the Church. In my family, we where brought up being taught in the teachings and standards of Christ. I am the youngest of five kids, and I love it! Though my life has not been perfect, nor has my family been perfect. But, it is the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ that helps us stay together. I am currently serving a mission as a representative of The Lord Jesus Christ. I dedicate two years of my life serving the people of Vancouver Washington and the surrounding areas. I love my life, and I feel so blessed as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

We as Latter Day Saints embrace both the King James Version of the Bible, as well as the Book of Mormon. I came to know by the same witness that the Bible was true, that the Book of Mormon is true. Also by the same token that Joseph Smith truly saw God, and His Son Jesus Christ. So how was it that I found that out? In the Book of Mormon there is a promise given. It is found in Moroni chapter ten verses three through four. 3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. (Moroni 10:3-4) This scripture continues to tell us that by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I gained a testimony of the gospel through much reading and prayer. Just as stated in this scripture, the spirit testified to me that it was true. Just as I gained a witness, so can you!

How I live my faith

So as previously mentioned, I am a missionary. That means that I am dedicating two years of my life specifically to serving others, and inviting them to come unto Christ. When I was baptized I made a covenant or a promise with my Heavenly Father that " willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light; Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death." (Mosiah 18:8-9) I live each day to make it better than the last, and to be the best imperfect person, striving for perfection. Through Jesus Christ, our Savior and redeemer.
