Hi I'm Tara Paulina

I'm from the Philippines. I grew up in the church and it has blessed my life in many ways.

About Me

I'm 20 years old now and just graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I studied in Bicol University and eventually received the highest award. I graduated in Seminary and Institute which strengthened my testimony of the divinity of the Savior. I'm serving in the Philippines Cauayan Mission. I grew up in the Church. We are four in the Family and i'm the only daughter. My family members are all active in the church. We were sealed in the Temple for all time and Eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i know that it is true. I have no doubt that i belong to the restored church of Christ. I've prayed about the truthfulness of the Church, Joseph Smith being a prophet of God and the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. I was answered. Because of my membership in the Church,I came to understand more about my personal relationship with the Savior and how I should emulate His perfect example. I have found the answers to many of life’s questions in the Book of Mormon, the Book is true and indeed a living witness that Jesus is the Christ. We should earnestly seek not just to know about the Master, but to strive as He invited, to be one with Him. I know with absolute awareness that I am a princess because I am a daughter of a Heavenly king whose plan brings us to earth and provides the conditions and destiny of our Eternal journey. I love to be a member of the true church. I love to be different.

How I live my faith

We can't control what people think about how we live our beliefs but in one way or another we could let it be known to them by setting a good example of how a true latter-day Saint should be. I never lower my standards in any occasion of my life, Sometimes, the world condemns me for not doing what an ordinary girls used to do; but in the end, i earn the respect that i deserve. I always stand firm on what i believe is right. Setting aside the worldly desires and choosing to follow the Savior. Every time i have a decision to make, i always think of what the Savior will say rather than what people might say or think about it. I am not and will never be ashamed to live my standards set by the church for i know that it will bring happiness into my life and eventually lead me back into my Heavenly Father's presence.
