Hi I'm Scott Daniel Austin

I'm from Arizona. I'm serving a mission in Scotland/Ireland.Collegiate baseball player and future doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Before my mission, I studied pre-med and played baseball for a small LDS college named Southern Virginia University.I love the game of baseball and I want to play it for the rest of my life. I also love going on dates and hanging out with my friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and from a very young age I followed the example of my parents. It wasn't until I reached high school that I started asking questions and developing a testimony for myself. I went through a rough time in high school and I was forced to ask for help. I prayed for love and guidance and that is when I learned that Heavenly Father has a plan for me. I knew the church was true and now I'm serving the Lord for two years! I've learned how happy this church and this gospel makes other people. I can feel the love of God whenever I go to church or participate in an activity. I couldn't imagine myself without this church. I wouldn't be the same person without it.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in my home ward ever since I was a baby and have been a big part of it ever since. I love giving talks and teaching lessons in whatever setting I can. Whenever I can help someone learn, it brings me great joy! I feel like I learn so much more when I teach other people.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Scott Daniel Austin
Mormons live like everyone else, the only difference is that we enjoy life a lot more. Our knowledge of God's plan make us have a greater appreciation for the gift of life. We all have trials and hard times, but we come to be grateful for them because we know they will make us better people. If I could describe the Mormon lifestyle in one word, it would be "happy".
