Hi I'm Landon

I'm from Utah, I hunt, fish, camp and I like the outdoors! I love heavy metal and playing guitar, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

For me, it doesn't get much better than being up in the mountains with a rifle in my hand. Something that most people don't expect about me is that I am really into hard rock and heavy metal music! I love to play my guitar and make up little riffs on it. I'm a pretty happy kid and will try just about anything. I plan on serving an LDS mission in Culiacan, Mexico in just a few months and can not wait!

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have developed a firm testimony through time in combination with daily scripture study and prayer. It took me awhile to gain my testimony, a bit longer than most raised in our church, but eventually I came to the knowledge that this truly is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, that He loves us, and that He wants us to return to him one day. Why my testimony took longer to develop than others, I don't know. But I do know that because I pursued it and didn't give up, I am now the happiest I have ever been in my entire life, and I know for a fact that that happiness comes because of the love Christ has for me and for all His children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my Sunday church meetings, praying daily, and reading from the Bible and The Book of Mormon. I recently recieved my mission call to Culiacan, Mexico. I am so excited to be able to teach others about my church in the spanish language and hope that they will feel of the same spirit that I do. I try my best to teach by example. I know I am far away from perfect, but I always try and remember that the best way Christ taught was through His example to us. I know that when I keep that in mind, it in turn helps me to better myself and progress in life.
