Hi I'm Trilby

I am a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, aunt, mom, wife and friend. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I love using new recipes and finding new crafts to work on. I love to travel, I've been to more than 13 countries and I aspire to see much more! My family is the most important thing in my life, I have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I would do anything for them!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the gospel, however I didn't gain a testimony of the gospel principles until I was almost out of high school. After searching the scriptures and talking to my Heavenly Father through prayer I realized I was where I needed to be, that the church was true and I was blessed to be a part of it. The standards of the church help me daily. They make me stronger. I didn't always think this way, but I was blessed when I was 15 to go see the Sacred Grove in New York, where Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. I realized if a boy, only 14 years old, had enough faith to stand for what he knew to be right and true, I could do the same thing. I raised my standards, I try each day to be who I need to be and I am blessed each day for it. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know that we have a wonderful prophet who leads and guides us, President Thomas S. Monson. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and testifies of the Savior. I know that through the blessings of the temple, I can be with my family forever. I know these things are true, each day only makes my testimony stronger.

How I live my faith

I've enjoyed many different callings in the church. I've been blessed to work with the children, the young women and now with the women in my ward. I've also been able to plan and organize activities. I love serving and helping where ever I can whether it's taking a meal to a family in need or visiting someone who is sick or going through trials. I'm thankful to be around such strong and uplifting women each week.
