Hi I'm Brittany

Family is my life and my joy. I love dancing, singing, learning, and tasting salt in cookies. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho, but spent my latter high school years in North Carolina. My four sisters and one brother are my greatest friends and examples. My parents always taught us the importance of hard work and persistence, and I am so grateful for their support and kindness to us. I grew up loving dancing and singing and am now a certified Zumba Instructor. Brigham Young University was my college home. I pursued a degree in Family Life because I love learning about how to create successful relationships. My husband’s enthusiasm, hard work, and love of his Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are examples to me every day and I love that we get to tackle this life and forever together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the true joy and peace that comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The fact that I am able to take my questions directly to Heavenly Father and receive answers is something that I cannot deny. I have felt my Heavenly Father’s love so strongly and know that he exists and wants the best for his children. In a world with so much confusion and darkness, this gospel provides a light that is constant and sure, a light that will never fail. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and living this gospel gives purpose and meaning to my life, a purpose that is so real and allows me to be with my family forever and seek to do better each day.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a simple, yet profound process for me: I ask myself, “What would Heavenly Father have me do?” and then try to live my life accordingly. I make many mistakes, but I strive every day to be a little better and follow my Savior, Jesus Christ. Actions of living my faith include attending church each Sunday, studying the scriptures daily, praying and communicating with my Heavenly Father always, serving and uplifting others, and seeking learning continually. I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups at church, from children to adults, and find so much joy in the chance we have to help each other come unto Christ and learn about our Heavenly Father’s plan for each of his children.
