Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in the state of Virginia in the USA. I served an LDS mission in Italy, and I hope to become a medical doctor.

About Me

I am currently a student at BYU in Utah, USA. I am studying Microbiology and I hope to become a medical doctor. I enjoy being with friends, going to activities and game nights, being outside, riding my bicycle, learning, fixing things, cooking, learning new hobbies, reading books, reading the newspaper, and traveling. I love performing music; I played the trombone for years in my high school and then participated in the university marching band. Then, I made a major switch this past year, just because, and participated in a major chorus at BYU, the Men's Chorus. Ever since my LDS mission in Italy, I have continued to be fascinated with the country and am currently on an international medical internship there. I have one sister and a brother-in-law.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to be a member of this church because I have a testimony of it and it fills my life with joy and purpose. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe it holds the solutions to many of the world's problems. I believe it is our responsibility to follow Christ's example in all that we do. Faith is like a seed--if you plant it and nourish it, it will grow. This is what happened with me, and I do all that I can to have a relationship with God, my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am on an international internship in Italy. In this country, I sought out a volunteer opportunity with an organization here and am helping raise money for cancer care in Tuscany. A highlight of this trip has been the opportunity I had to visit a family that I grew to know and love on my mission, for a weekend, and to help them share the gospel with their friends. In my singles' ward at BYU, I help by organizing fun weekly activities and spiritual lessons for the group of single students that lives near me. I have also served in the Sunday school organization, helped with the Sacrament (like communion) in our church, and helped in several other roles. I believe it is my responsibility to follow Christ's example in all that I do, and this is how I live my life.
