Hi I'm Kaylie

I'm a scientist, a singer, and a sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Washington state. I love the northwest! I am part of a very musical family. My mom sings and my dad plays the piano. All my siblings do something musical. I, however, found my niche to be science. I love anything chemistry! In fact that is what I am studying in college now. I still find time to appreciate the musical sides of my life but I really love to go to school and to learn. I am the second oldest of four children. When I was 16 years old my parents were divorced but because of it my siblings and I have grown closer than I could have ever imagined. I love my family! And my dog Alfie!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God's plan for me is one of happiness and joy. I have never felt truer joy than when I am living the principles of this gospel. God gave us a plan that we can become like Him. I know that He loves me. Sometimes when you go through trials life can seem so uncertain and always changing. One thing I know is that during these times there is always one thing consistent in my life and that is the gospel. No matter where I go the church is true. No matter what job or school I go to, I know my Heavenly Father loves me. This never changes. What a beautiful plan to return to Him someday. It is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that we can become perfect. I know my Savior lives. This testimony I hold dear to me and it brings me great happiness in my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me. I strive to live like Christ and view others as He would. I try to share the love I know my Savior has for me with those around me. By serving others we not only show our love for them but also our love for Christ. I love to attend church and to strengthen my faith by learning new things about the gospel. I will soon be serving a mission in Germany where I hope to share these things I have learned.
