Hi I'm Evan

I'm from Saudi Arabia, I am on a mission in Birmingham England, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and raised in Sulphur, Louisiana. 'I was born of goodly parents, who love the Lord' and am so thankful for that. I'm thankful that I've had parents who brought me to church even on those mornings I thought I was too sick or tired to go. On the 21st of December 2008 my life was changed. I moved from my home in Louisiana to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I've since travelled to many countries and learned many valuable lessons. I love my life and wouldn't change it for anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but that doesn't mean that I didn't have to learn about the gospel for myself. While I was young I always had great people around me who's testimonies' I could feed off of. As I grew older and attended different church meetings and made great friends in the church. I learned to love the standards that are lived by members of the church. I knew that no matter where I was, members of the church would always be there if I needed help. But most importantly, I know that our Saviour, Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. That our Heavenly Father sent his only begotten son to die for us. I know that this was all done to fulfill God's plan of happiness for us. Whatever our needs are, our saviour knows them. Our saviour understands and may be the only person who can really empathize with us. I know that as we live the gospel, and follow the commandments that God gave us, than we will be blessed. Before we were born we lived with our Heavenly Father and we were sent here to learn. As we live the gospel and make use of the Atonement, we can return to live with Him. If you're not LDS, please read the Book of Mormon and pray about what it says. It will change your life. God has promised happiness through the Gospel of Christ, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored Gospel of Christ on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I've always attended church and have always had a testimony of the Gospel. I have served as deacons, and teachers quorom president, and priests quorom first assistant. I am currently serving a mission in Birmingham England and am looking forward to bringing people closer to our savior. I get back on July of 2015.
