Hi I'm Harrison Robert Smouse

I'm from Utah, I live a few minutes North of Salt Lake City, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have served the past 8 years as a United States Naval Sea Cadet, and graduated at the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. I plan to join the Navy when I return from my LDS Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

People are born into many different religions and don't know what it's like for others to become converted. I had a good friend once say "We all have to make the choice to become converted, even those of us who are born into this church." I had earlier spent along time studying other faiths, trying to decide which one to join. they all had similarities but lacked one very important principal that the LDS Church has, and that is -Families can be together forever.- a few months ago I made that choice to ask the Lord if this church is true, and over these past few months I have gotten my answer, it wasn't right away, but it was more like the rising sun, all around me was dark, but through faith, prayer, and scripture study my dark world became slowly but surly brighter, just like when the sun starts it's assent in to the sky. My life is now a bright and wonderful world, I have made the choice to become a Missionary and share my Testimony of the Gospel, but most importantly that, families can be together for time and all eternity, and that the mortal death of man is not the end, and death can not separate us from our families and loved ones.

How I live my faith

I don't judge people by their appearance, or beliefs. I try my best to live my life and to view others how Christ sees us. I know for a fact that there is good in all of the Lords children, and that we are all equal.
