Hi I'm Kurtis

I was raised in Arizona. My hobbies are playing cello, shooting hoops, working out, and playing video games. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young adult that just graduated High School. I'm about to be leaving for my mission which I am so excited for. My hobbies are working out, playing basket ball, and playing the cello. I love my family and friends and I am so grateful for all the chances that I get to spend with them. It seems to me that I am just beginning the start of my life. As an eighteen year old, I really don't know what I'm going to do with my life. But what I do know is I am going to make something great out of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised up in this church by wonderful parents. They have raised me in such a way that I am ready to be self-sufficient. The reason why I continue to follow this gospel is because I know that it is true, I know that this church can bring happiness and joy to my life. I know that because I have felt the Holy Ghost numerous times in my life and I can't deny the fact that this church is true. I have a testimony of God. I know that he cares for each and every one of us. I know he cares for us because he sent His beloved son, Jesus Christ, to atone for the sins of the world. Christ suffered so that each of us may have the opportunity to make it back to Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I believe all of the teachings of this Gospel and I can testify that its all true. Most of all I am a Mormon because I want to make it back to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

As I have grown up I have had the opportunity to attend mutual and fun activities with our ward. I have obtained so many great memories from the quorums I have been in--memories I could not have gotten anywhere else. I have gained so many friends from the brethren within these quorums. My leaders were great mentors for me and have taught me so many life lessons and I know I am a better person because of the life I live. As I have been preparing for my mission I know that I am ready to go out there and teach because of the knowledge I have received within this church. And that is how I live my faith.
