Hi I'm Alicia Marsh

I'm a wife and a mother. I'm going to school to be a counselor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First of all I'm a Wife and a Mom. I have two beautiful children, a boy and a girl and they, with their Father, are my whole world. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom while my Husband supports the family. This means I get to stay home and play with my babies and be there for them whenever they need me. Outside of my role in the home I really enjoy some good entertainment. I like to read books (Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, etc.) and I enjoy watching the movies based on the books. I'd like to think I'm super fun to be around and that I'm uplifting to those who know me. I'm going to school and getting a Bachelors in Psychology and plan to complete my Masters in Counseling, specifically for families, couples and children. When I'm on my death bed I'd like to be able to look back on my life and feel at peace. At peace knowing I was a supportive and loving wife and mother and that I left people feeling better than before they knew me. That's the kind of person I strive to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Gospel principals that the religion is founded upon are true. I am also a member because I have prayed about it. I know how to pray because I was taught by Parents who were members. I was also taught by missionaries and from the scriptures and when I prayed I felt the spirit, I recognized the spirit by the feeling I had in my heart. It aroused a burning feeling deep within my soul and I knew that what I was praying about was true. I have also found that I feel true happiness by living those principals.

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping share the gospel. It is so exciting to be there for others as they learn about the gospel and it re-ignites my enthusiasm about my own testimony. They say you learn more when you teach and the same hold true when it comes to sharing the gospel. If I find I'm in a "spiritual slump" I help others in the gospel and receive spiritual inspiration in return.
