Hi I'm Jason

I have grown up in Wyoming. I have a wonderful family who loves and suports me.

About Me

Hi, my name is Jason. I've lived in Wyoming all my life. I currently live and work on a ranch and am getting ready to serve a mission. I have grown up loving the out-doors. I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, four-wheeling, and any other activities that might push me to the limit. I love my job, it brings me joy to work outside enjoying God's creations. I love to see crops flourish and animals grow because of my efforts. I am the youngest child of six. I have a great family and we are all really close. I hope to one day have my own business along with running our family farm and ranch with my Dad.

Why I am a Mormon

As I said before, I've grown up in the church, and as I've gone through live I have had plenty of my own struggles, but I have never questioned my testimony in the Savior and in His restored gospel. I have found in my live that when I am down it is usually because I'm not doing as the Lord would want me to but the moment I start trying to get back on his chosen path my heart lifts and my life becomes easier and happier. I know we all have a loving Savior who wants to help us if we will just let him in. I know that his church is restored upon the earth again through his prophets. I testify that that the Book of Mormon is truly another testiment of Jesus Christ, and that if you will read it with real intent you will come to know this too. I can tell you with all of my heart that if we will pray, a loving Heavenly father will answer our prayers. I have put this to the test and seen it for myself. I testify that throught the gospel we have the abillity to have eternal families. When I was five my family was in a car crash in which two of my brothers died. I can tell you with all the sinserity I poses, that I know without a shadow of a doubt that as long as I live my life rightously I will see my brothers again and my family will be together forever. I testify of the miracle of forgivness through repentance. If you have done anything wrong in your life and you fell unclean, the Savior has provided a way you can repent.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the church, a fact for which I am very grateful. I've had the oppertunity to serve in the young men's for a couple of years. I help teach sometimes and help the young men plan their activites. I am currently getting ready to serve a mission, and am super excited. As I've hadt the oppertunity to go and do home teaching and it has given me a great desire to share the light of Christ with the people of the world in any way I can. It is always a great experiece to go into members homes and feel of their spirits and help them in any way I can. I have the oppertunity to go over to one of our elderly couples homes each week to adminster the sacrement to them. It is a blessing to see their faith as they strive to live the gospel as they deal with their struggles. I know we go over there to help them, but they always seem to bless your lives more then we could ever bless theirs.

What is being a Mormon like?

It is wonderful to be a mormon. It brings me comfort to know that if I'm ever in need of something there are always people there to help me. I love how you can go to any LDS church around the world and get the same lesson on Sunday, because all of the teachers use the same manuals. It is also great that no matter were you are, you can walk into an LDS church and feel welcomed and love right off. Show more Show less
