Hi I'm Michael

I am preparing for a mission to Guatemala. I love food and to play the violin. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I just graduated high school. I couldn't wait to get out and start in the real world! During my senior year I worked 32 hours, went to school 7.5 hours, and went to seminary 5 hours a week. I love to play the violin and sports. My favorite sport is running. I am going to BYU-Provo in 2 years after my mission to Guatemala.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that my redeemer lives. This church is true. Joseph Smith was a chosen prophet of God to restore His church in these last days. I am so thankful that I was blessed with His gospel in my life and I want to share it with everyone so that they know the happiness I have gained from it. The Book of Mormon gives me the best feelings out of anything I read. I love being able to go to church each week no matter where I am in the world and have it be the same teachings and the same love and Spirit that is in every other meetinghouse. I have no doubts that this is the church God wants me to be in.

How I live my faith

I participated in our church's male youth program - the Boy Scouts of America. I earned my Eagle Scout while helping other boys and encouraging them to achieve the same rank. I try to live as though Christ was there with me so that I am not ashamed. I have led boys my age in various leadership positions during my teenage years. I try to help them build testimonies of the Savior. When I can, I participate in service especially when our church has service activities.
