Hi I'm Evan Brown

I was born in Annapolis, Maryland. I came to Utah when I was three years old. I'm a Marylander, I'm a Utahn, I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a certified Pharmacy Technician, Graduated in 2013, and I love the Lord and look for any opportunities to serve Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the covenant with my parents, which means my parents were married in the temple. And I was baptized at age eight. From being surrounded by the spirit most all of my life I have a strong testimony of the divinity of this church and I am very grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I am always ready to share my testimony and help others with their own. I hometeach five great families with my Stake Patriarch. (A high calling in the church) and I love keeping the covenants, or promises, that I've made with God.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Evan Brown
All worthy and able priesthood holders are commanded to serve a mission. However, my older sister, for example, was not able to serve a full-time mission because she has too many mental problems to handle all the stresses. Also, my older brother was also unable because he is a paraplegic and also couldn't handle it, but they both wanted to because it is a privelege. Show more Show less

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Evan Brown
It really is the least we can do to help our Lord's church grow, but it is exactly what God needs and asks for so that the church can stay financially stable. And it does work very well. However it is very important to note that none of the money goes to pay local church leaders or church officials. Those who have leadership serve the Lord without pay. Tithing is only for the funds neccesary for the growth of the church. Show more Show less
