Hi I'm Cory

I grew up near Atlanta Georgia, I love basketball and movies, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi I'm Cory! I was born and raised in Georgia. Growing up I loved to play basketball and its what I love to do in my free time. When I was 20 years old I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where I learned Spanish. I hope to continue to speak Spanish all thoughout my life. I am studying right now to become a Mechanical Engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people think that if you were born into the Church that you don't have a real conversion story. That just simply is not true. We all reach a point in our lives when we have to decide whether we are going to continue to be members or not. I know I have reached that point and have been able to experience what Christ's sacrifice really meant for me. I learned that The Lord really does love me and has told me through His Holy Spirit that this is the truth. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy and brings a satisfaction to life unlike anything else in this world.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel is a day by day kind of thing. It's not something that you do just once. One thing I've learned about the Gospel is that it helps us do progress. It is faith in action! Truly living the Gospel is what brings me closer to Our Savior. Service is a very important aspect of the teachings of Jesus Christ. He wants us to help our brothers and sisters all around us and He promises us joy beyond measure as we do so. I have never been so happy as I have when I am able to teach someone about Jesus Christ and watch how the Savior changes their lives.
