Hi I'm Mark

I'm a husband and father of two. I'm an entrepreneur working on my MBA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of two. I love new technology and creative ideas. I spend time playing basketball, backpacking, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that by living the principles taught by Jesus Christ, I have achieved true and lasting happiness. I have also come to understand that our Father in Heaven cares for us and communicates with us by inspiring our thoughts and feelings. Through this communication from God, I have come to know that he truly has a plan for us in this life. I have tried my best to understand his plan, and what part he would have me play in it. As I have done so, I have come to know that the Bible, and the Book of Mormon are true books that recount the history and teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. My faith is based on the reality that Jesus Christ was more than a prophet, but that he is truly the Savior of the world. His suffering, his death, and his resurrection provide the power necessary to allow all of us to overcome our imperfections and return home with our Father in Heaven and our families.

How I live my faith

I serve with the leadership of our ward, and I often have the opportunity to visit friends and neighbors in their homes. I am blessed to be surrounded by great people, and I am constantly impressed with how thoughtful people are, and how well they treat me, my wife, and my children. While I serve in the administration of our ward, I prefer to minister to those in need, and serve them as best I can in whatever way possible. As I try to think of others above myself, I gain a wider perspective, and greater love for others, and a deeper sense of meaning and happiness in my own life.
