Hi I'm Jacob

I am a teammate, a brother, a friend, a son, and I'm also a Mormon!

About Me

I love to play sports, basketball, soccer and basically anything else that involves a little bit of competition. I love to read, fantasy, fiction, and even some non-fiction. I also enjoy playing games with my family, and watching movies. Though I think my favorite thing to do is hang out with my friends, whether we are bowling or chatting. Those are some good times!

Why I am a Mormon

I would not be where I am today without my family. I owe so much to them. I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one of the reason that I continue to stick around and be a Mormon is the view on families. This church is a families church, it provides me with the knowledge that I can be with my family forever and for all eternity.

How I live my faith

As a recent high school graduate, living up to my faith can sometimes be a challenge. While adjusting to a new environment and trying to fit in, can sometime collide with my beliefs. Though I still stride to do what I know is right, I help around my Young Single Adult Ward by hometeaching and just doing what I am asked to do. Recently my brother, Shaun, also my hometeaching companion, and I were visiting this girl. After a brief discussion we discovered that her grandfather recently passed away. We were able to give her a little bit of comfort and share a message of hope and healing. I live my faith by helping others.
