Hi I'm Brigham

I'm a husband, a father, working man, sports enthusiast and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a transplant to the state of Ohio. My family and I decided to move here to have a new experience away from our previous home in Utah. Moving away was not easy but it has been a great experience that our small family has been able to share. Sports are my big thing and have always been my biggest hobby. I played in high school and I was able to coach for a few years in high school before a family took precedent and providing for my family. I still like to think that I can play but I am definitely finding "slower" sports to be more appealing. My family is very important to me. Juggling life can be difficult but with my family supporting me, I seem to find a pretty good balance and hopefully prioritize accordingly. I love my family dearly and am very thankful to have a loving wife and son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I strongly believe that this is the Church of Jesus Christ. I have had many opportunities to see first hand the way that the teachings of the Church have influenced my life as well as the lives of others. The Church has allowed me opportunities that I would not have ever been afforded otherwise such as allowing me to go to Brazil for 2 years and preach to the good people of Brazil. The experiences that I had with teaching others and learning from those that I taught had an immense influence over me. I know that the Book of Mormon is scripture and that it's teaching along with those of the Bible are from our Heavenly Father and truly teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel closer to my Savior as I read from these 2 books. I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I feel that it's teachings are true and that I am truly a better person because of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in church related activities as well as serving in different functions. I specifically with men who are 18 years of age and older. Together we coordinate activities, service projects, and teach one another in our homes and at church. I like to go out with the missionaries from our church and help teach about Jesus Christ and the plan that he has for each of us. Another way that I try to live my faith is by doing genealogical work for my family. I love the chase and satisfaction of piecing together the past and linking those who were unknown in to my family tree. I love to pass as much of my free time as possible doing genealogy.
