Hi I'm Kylee

I'm petite and a blogger. I'm in love with ice cream and live music. I'm a Mormon and I love it.

About Me

I'm a recent college grad basking in the homework-free life. I'm passionate about photography and music. I can't cook to save my life, but baking I can do. Once upon a time I was a dancer, now I just pretend. Yellow is my favorite color, mustard yellow if we're being specific. Mexican food is my go-to for all occasions and ice cream is my forever favorite dessert. My family and I like to go boating, dog included (he even tubes and jumps off cliffs!). I spent a summer in India working with 26 adorable orphan girls that changed my life. Dresses and skirts are my thing when it comes to style, I wear them nearly every single day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family, one that taught gospel principles both in word and through actions. There comes a point though, where one must decide for themselves what they believe and why they believe it. It was a gradual thing for me, a solid testimony slowly but surely formed. Even now, as a 23 year old, I'm still learning and converting. Each day provides me with yet another opportunity to grow closer to God and to grow firmer in my faith. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the truthfulness of it in my heart, mind, and soul. I have felt the everlasting peace and the endless joy that comes from living the gospel.

How I live my faith

For me, being a Mormon is much more than attending church once a week. It's about serving others regularly, seeking uplifting activities and friends, finding opportunities to share what we know to be true, and ultimately becoming more like Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon is about living in happiness and sharing that happiness. I particularly enjoy sharing my testimony and gospel thoughts on my personal blog. I like to share my life through pictures and words, and my blog allows me to do that. I've never been one to hold back when it comes to spiritual thoughts on my blog, the gospel is too wonderful to keep to myself. I am currently serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has already been the greatest (hardest, but GREATEST) experience of my life. I am certain that I am in the exact place that the Lord wants me to be, doing the very thing that He wants me to be doing: bringing others unto Christ. I want to help people and share with them the everlasting goodness of this gospel.
