Hi I'm Abbie Barrett

I'm from Sandy, Utah. I'm studying at Utah state Univ and run XC/TF. I'm a happy-go-lucky gal who loves to smile. I am a Mormon.:)

About Me

I'm currently attending USU where I am studying exercise science and physical education. I love to run and am privileged to be a member of the Cross-country and track and field teams at USU. I love being outside and being in nature. I love going on hikes, walks, trail runs, and biking and being able to enjoy all of the beauties of the earth that Heavenly Father has blessed us with. I have recently recieved a mission call to serve in the Jamaica Kingston Mission and will be reporting to the Provo MTC in April. I'm excited to serve and invite the wonderful people of Jamaica to get to know our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I love my family and have been blessed to be able to grow, learn, and love with them as we've dealt with life's challenges and conquered them together. We were sealed as a family in the Salt Lake temple in August of 1994. One the greatest days of my life knowing that families are forever and mine is too. I'm a happy-go-lucky gal who loves to smile, laugh, and have fun. Although life's not easy the secret to success is to "fall down seven times and get back up eight."

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father lives and loves each and everyone of us. I know that Joseph Smith did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. That through Joseph Smith Christ's church is once again restored to the earth where everyone is invited to come and see for themselves how deeply they are loved and cared for by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and by studying and learning from its pages we will be able to know how much we are loved and cared for by Heavenly father and the Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being obedient, diligent, and a friend to others. By doing these things I am able to know that I am living as Christ did so long ago and that by living as He did I will be able to help others get to know the Savior through me.
