Hi I'm Tony Reynoso

I'm a Californian, I speak Italian, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 children. I am a 21 year old in college studying Health Science and love it! I want to be an orthodontist some day. I made this account because I desire to share the thing most important to me! My Faith! I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and died for me! I know of and have felt of his great love as his Atonement has worked for me through my personal life. I desire all to know the greatness of Jesus and his role in our lives. I know that through prayer and studying the teachings of his restored church The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that we can all attain this personal testimony!

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually blessed to be born into the church. In that my mother is a member and raised me by taking me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My father however is not a member and ever since I grew up I felt I was able to see what both worlds were like, inside and outside of the church. I with this situation desired to know the truth. I searched out the answer and have been testified to through prayer and by the power of the Holy Ghost numerous times of the truthfulness of this Gospel and Church. I know it is true! Life only strengthens my testimony as now everything really does bare testimony to me of the truth I had received on my knees and over the years. I love that the truth can be reconfirmed more than once! If anyone ever wants to talk about conversion and how you can know the truth I would love to talk about it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything I do. When I have something to accomplish whether it be for my family, school, a stranger, for myself.... whatever the task may be when I know it is something the Lord wants me to do; there is nothing that can stop me. I find that he wants me to do many things day to day and when I humble myself to listen to the still small voice who guides me through these tasks I feel the Lords hand near as he helps me to do many great things only to better the lives of others and myself as I know that is what he desires.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Tony Reynoso
Baptism into the Lord's restored church (this church) is so important because as stated it is his church. Those who sincerely pray to know this will receive some way or another by the power of the Holy Ghost a confirmation of the truth. When you realize this is his only true and living church upon the earth and that he (Jesus Christ) has commissioned certain individuals here upon the earth giving them of his authority to perform his holy ordinance of baptism you understand why it is so important to get baptized into his Church. I know that baptism into this church is to open the gateway to heaven! It can wash us clean from our sins! But, it take more than that afterwards the Lord will give you the Holy Ghost (the baptism by fire spoken of in the scriptures) with this divine gift you will be required to continue to make choices for which you will continually grow and through repentance change yourself to choose always that which is good. This process of repentance or changing ones self or desires will take for most of us a lifetime to master. Do not be discouraged though because every day is worth it, we can grow and learn each step of the way and truly enjoy the journey! Show more Show less
