Hi I'm Houston

I am from South Carolina. I surf almost everyday of the week, except Sunday of course. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I love anything to do with a board: snowboard, surfboard, and skateboard. I am an Eagle Scout. I just graduated high school and I leave November 6th to go to Vitoria, Brazil on my mission. When I return I plan to attend college in Charleston, South Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

The Mormon church is in no way an easy lifestyle--and yes it is a lifestyle. I was born and raised in the church, but my dad was not. He converted after he and my mom married. Many times he has said to me that the two best decisions he ever made were the two mentioned above: my mom and the church. Our church simply has the answers that others do not. The lackadaisical phrase, "Well we will just see when we get to the otherside," does not exist. Your questions can and will be answered by a loving member. I can honestly say I have never met a cold-hearted Mormon. Though sometimes we like to give answers bluntly it is only because we know of their truthfulness and would love for you to understand it as well. The spirit and unity felt inside a Mormon tabernacle is unparalleled.

How I live my faith

I don't go home teaching as much as I should, but I try to make up for it by attending appointments with the local missionaries as much as I can. I just received the Melchizedek priesthood and was set apart as a missionary.
