Hi I'm Todd

I was raised in Kansas. No, I don't know Dorothy. Oh, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently on a mission in Bakersfield, California! Not the beach part :) I left for my mission a couple months after graduating high school in Andover, Kansas (by Wichita) and worked at a lumberyard. I plan on attending college for an art degree--no idea what field, or what college! I've always enjoyed superheroes, and hope to someday work with superheroes in my chosen field. We'll see!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member because my parents raised me that way. When high school started, I began to lose interest because I didn't feel like it was my own choice. As mistakes were made, I saw my family relationships and friendships decaying. I wasn't happy with how I lived my life. My family moved to a new area of Kansas, and with it came a new church community. The youth there brought me back from the edge by giving me the examples and support I needed to regain my testimony.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow Christ's example. Am I perfect? Nope! But I'm trying, and that's what matters...right?

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Todd
Yes, we do, as long as it is translated correctly. As the Bible has been translated and retranslated further, as well as man making unauthorized changes, certain doctrines have been watered-down or even taken out. We don't doubt that the Bible is important, in fact, if we didn't have it, where would we be? Show more Show less
