Hi I'm Kami

I love summer night BBQ's, chocolate, and sports. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

An ideal evening for me consists of a family night summer BBQ and a game of flag football. I love my family, and I miss them more than ever while I am serving a mission in Mesa, Arizona. Some of my hobbies include singing, dancing, and spending time in the outdoors. I also love any type of sport or athletic competition, but volleyball would have to be my favorite. I have a slight addiction to all things chocolate, which conflicts with my future possible major: Exercise Wellness/nutrition. I will be at BYU after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the gospel brings me joy and peace. Living the gospel gives me direction for my life because I have a Savior to follow. It gives me hope because I know that I can be with my family forever. I am a Mormon because it make me feel happy. I know I am following Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sacrificing for others. I go to church every Sunday, but living my faith is a lot more than a once a week experiance. I read my scriptures and pray everyday. I also attend the temple as often as I can. I look to serve others and share the message of Jesus Christ with those I come in contact with.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The stereotype of most missionaries is that they have one goal- baptism. Contrary to that, missionaries love the privilege of teaching you about our belief in Christ. They share with you our belief on family and His atonement, and there are no strings attached! Show more Show less
