Hi I'm Mckay Noble

I live in a small mountain valley, I'm a gearhead, a machinist, an artist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy living in Cache Valley or somewhere that is green and has mountains. I have a passion for metal and anything mechanical. I am learning to be a machinist and am restoring a 68 Mustang. I also love to create art and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon home with strong regular going family members. I continue to be one because i have gained a testimony of this gospel and i have a desire to follow what God desires of me. I testify that the Book of Mormon is a true book. It can help guide us and give us answers. I also have a testimony that God loves us and is always there for us. He wants us to return to him again and wants us to succeed. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that he loves me as well. I want to follow him and Gods commandments throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, i enjoy being a member and right now i am currently serving an LDS mission in Melbourne Australia. I love reading and studying the scriptures, i actively try to live like the example of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I keep the commandments and try to do everything the Lord through his prophets, apostles and leaders ask us to do.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Mckay Noble
Of course we believe in the Bible. The Bible is also the word of God. The Old Testament and The New Testament are the writings of God's dealings with the people in Jerusalem. The Old Testament is the texts written before Christ was born. Many of these were written pertaining to Christ's coming. The New Testament is the writings of Christ's life and ministry. These along with the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Christ work together and testify of each other and complete the gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Mckay Noble
Yes. Through ordinances performed in God's holy temples enable us to live with our families for time and all eternity. This is a great blessing as i have a deep love for my family and if you think about it, any heaven where you aren't with your family, isn't truly heaven at all. This gives me hope and a sense of security knowing that i am sealed to my family for time and all eternity and hopefully in the future, to my future spouse and family as well. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Mckay Noble
The law of Chastity is the law of keeping sacred the powers and privilege of procreation and honouring through legal marriage between man and wife, those powers. This means that we keep ourselves clean by abstaining from sexual relations before marriage, as well as avoiding pornography, homosexual relations, and anything that degrades these sacred privileges we have been given. By following this law, we gain happiness in being clean, self respect for ourselves and also safety. Breaking this law is very serious. in doing so we've shown God that we have no respect for what he's given us and in so we open ourselves to guilt and sin. We as God's children should use these sacred powers of procreation to help bring families into this earth and grow in love and righteousness. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Mckay Noble
the purpose of this life is to learn, gain experience as well as gain bodies. we come to this earth to use the gift of agency, or the ability to choose, in trying to follow God and His commandments. But to do so, we came to this earth without any knowledge of our life with our Heavenly Father before coming to this earth. And in doing so we have the complete ability to learn for ourselves. God loves us so much that he never will interfere with that gift of agency. The trick is to search for God's word and once we've found it, to follow it completely. This life is for us to be tested, to see if we will follow God's plan for us, or if we will choose to sin and do as Satan would have us do. Trials of all sorts will come into each and everyone's life. These trials are not things that we cannot overcome. God gives us trials so that we can overcome these things and become stronger and develop into our full potential. We also come into this life to experience the joys of also being in a family. Families are essential to God's plan because we are literally His children and He wants us to return to Him after this life. That is what this life is for. Show more Show less
