Hi I'm Francine

I'm an American, a mother, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love serving in the church and have developed many talents by associating with others members of the church. I enjoy sewing and have opportunities to help others who want to learn or just need something sewn. I love photography and wish I was better at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it is true. Through the peaceful feelings I received from the Holy Ghost the truth was shown to me. As I continue to be involved in the church, my testimony is sustained over and over when I hear truth because those same sweet feelings continue to manifest themselves in my heart. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that he came to this earth and lived a perfect life and then voluntarally gave up his life to pay the price that we might be able to repent of our sins. I know that He was resurrected and lives today. I know that I will see Him again when He comes a second time. The Bible and Book of Mormon testify of His divinity as the Son of God. I know that he organized His church when he was upon this earth and that His church has been restored on the earth today through the Prophet, Joseph Smith. I know that we having a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides this church through revelation from Jesus Christ. I know that I am a daughter of God whose greatest joy will be to see me follow his Son, Jesus Christ so that I can return to live with him again. I'm truly grateful for this knowledge and how it helps me live my life daily. I'm able to avoid many mistakes by living the standards of the church and making sure that my focus is to live in the world, but not of it. I'm grateful for prayer and know that my Heavenly Father knows who I am and listens to my needs.

How I live my faith

I'm a busy mom with lots of responsibilities in the home, but I also stay involved in my children's schools through PTA. I serve in the church as an organist and leader of the youth. It's very rewarding to see these young women excel. They seem to teach me more than I teach them.
