Hi I'm Graydon

I'm a twin, a soccer goalkeeper, a music enthusiast, a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City as the 8th of 9 children. I began playing soccer at the age of 5 and have played and loved it ever since. I am a student at a university studying Exercise Science. I love the mountains of Utah whether I am hiking up and down them, camping in them, sledding or snowboarding down them, or admiring their beauty from afar. I am an avid runner and am always up for a challenge. I love listening to music and wish I was talented enough to make my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that The Book of Mormon is the word of God. The fulness of Christ's Gospel as he taught while upon the Earth is upon the Earth once more. The authority given to Peter, James, and John is with us and we have a Prophet and Apostles today. I am a holder of God's authority that is known as the Priesthood. The line is unbroken and my line can be traced back to Jesus Christ. He restored His church through the Prophet Joseph Smith. The Prophet today is Thomas S. Monson. I invite and admonish you to seek for this truth yourself. Seek, and ye shall find. Ask, and ye shall receive. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my weekly meetings. I enjoy reading and studying the scriptures and learn more and more from them each time, even if I've read the same thing several times. I love to learn about the history of the Church and of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I do my best to be prayerful in all that I do and acknowledge God for all that I have. I honor the callings He asks me to do. I spent two years of my life as one called and set apart to spread the Gospel abroad in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I am trying to be like Jesus.
