Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up near Vegas. I am a musician, movie-lover, and lifeguard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, loving life and living the dream! I love to curl up with a good book or movie. Music is my passion and I'm constantly singing. I am preparing to serve a mission to share the good news of the Gospel. I am currently working a summer job as a lifeguard, and I love it! I find nature breathtaking, and I enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, and camping. I want to work with children because I love their spunk and imaginations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of modern day prophets and apostles who lead this church. I have seen the happiness, joy, and uplift this Gospel brings into my life and the lives of those around me. His gospel makes me happy. It teaches me to live each day with love and a prayer in my heart, and it helps me to see the beauty, talents, and positive traits of those around me. I am a Mormon because I believe this is the only true church on the Earth today, and I believe it shows me the way to return to our Father in Heaven. I want to be with Him and our elder brother again someday, and I know this Gospel directs me there. I have felt the healing power of Christ's atonement, which I know I have felt through participation in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The peace, joy, and knowledge I have found here are incomparable to any other source, and I would not trade those things for the entire world and its riches.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by being the chorister for our Sunday meetings. I would lead the congregation in praises to our Lord and Savior. I visit with other young women in the Church and share a message given to us by our Church leaders to uplift and inspire them. I enjoy serving both those I know through church and others in my community. I love going down to soup kitchens and helping with dinner. I have also had the privilege of being part of a camp for children and their siblings with critical illnesses.
