Hi I'm Sister Corinne Lundskog

I am an Oregonian. A big sister. An outdoor lover. Adventure Seeker. A daughter of God. A disciple of Christ. And a kid at heart!

About Me

My name is Corinne Lundskog. I recently finished a year at BYU-Idaho. I am now currently serving a mission in the St. Louis Missouri mission. I am the oldest in my family, I have a younger sister and a younger brother. My family is everything to me. I am from Tualatin, Oregon. I love the great Northwest. I love anything to do with the outdoors like camping, hiking and fishing, to name a few. I love nature and anything to do with wildlife. Before my mission I worked at a dog kennel where I got to play with dogs all day. It was the greatest job in the world. Fall is my favorite season. When the leaves change and the holiday season starts, it is the best time of the year. The fourth of July is my favorite holiday. I love the fireworks and I love being the one to set them off. I love looking at the stars and floating the river, I love campfires and making smores, I love hearing people's life stories. I find inspiration in the paths different people have had to walk in their lives. My parents raised me to always see the good in people and to let the experiences I have had in life make me better not bitter. They taught me to never quit and to give my all in everything I do. I was taught to always stand up for what I believe in and to serve those around me. My mom taught me that I can do hard things and to never lose faith in my Heavenly Father. Always remember: the life you live is a message to the world, so make sure it is inspiring.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I have seen Heavenly Father's hand in my life through simple and small tender mercies. I haven't seen an angel or heard God's voice. But I have felt his love for me, in times of hardship and in times of joy. I know that he knows me by name and listens to every prayer I say. Not only that but he answers my prayers. When I hit rock bottom he was there to lift me back up again. I cannot picture my life without this church. At times I tried to walk away from it all and I never want to feel that loneliness again. This church is a part of me and has taught me who I am. I am a daughter of God, a daughter of a King. I know who I am and what I stand for. I have been blessed beyond measure by my Heavenly Father, who has loved me even when I have not loved him. This gospel is so precious and I want to give my all to bring this light unto all those searching for the truth. I know that the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. I believe in the power of prayer and I know he listens. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today and there is no where I rather be then here on my mission. I know that my Savior lives and I am proud to say, I AM A MORMON.

How I live my faith

I currently am serving a mission in the St. Louis Missouri mission. As said in the scriptures, "faith without works is dead." I live my faith by living in such a way, that others can see Christ though my actions. I am living my faith by sharing the gospel to all those who come within my reach. Having faith has lead to me to act, sharing the gospel is an act of my faith. Faith means believing in something you cannot see, faith means trusting in God. I live my faith by trusting in God every minute of everyday. As humans we can only see the here and now, unlike our Heavenly Father who can see the big picture. As I live my faith I can trust in him even when I cannot see what lies ahead. Standing up for what I believe in is another way I live my faith. I am not ashamed of who I am or what I represent. I strive to be and look like a daughter of God. I bare my testimony to those who question what I stand for. I do what I say and say what I do. Ultimately, the greatest way to live my faith is to stay loyal to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Loyalty is the greatest act of love. I live my faith by believing in my Heavenly Father and continually striving to come closer to him.
