Hi I'm Blair

I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA. I have an identical twin brother. I love to sing. I love my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I loved growing up and raising my family in California. My wife and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We have five children, who are the apple of my eye. I am an accountant. I love sports and music. I sang in a barbershop quartet with my father, my twin and my youngest brother for many years. I have spent much of my free time singing. I have recently been singing with two of my daughters and my brother. I love to be around my family and enjoy their company.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the Spirit of the Lord testify to me that salvation comes through Jesus Christ. That, by coming unto him by repenting of my sins and then following his example, I can receive peace and joy in my life. I know that the fullness of the gospel has been restored to earth and can be found in this church. This gospel is for all of God's children. That is why we send missionaries throughout the world, so that everyone who will listen can have all of the blessings of the gospel. I love my Savior and want to follow him. He has, and continues, to bless me and my family with his grace and love.

How I live my faith

I have been taught my whole life to try to do what is right and to reach out and serve others. I have tried to teach my children these same principles, and it is fun and gratifying to see them make good choice and to reach out and serve others. I served a Mormon mission to Spain and loved the people I met there. My son recently returned from serving in Canada, and one of my daughters is currently serving in Southern California. I currently serve as the musical director for my local congregation -- there is nothing better than singing praises to God. I recently finished serving for 3 years as a leader in a congregation of students at a local university. It was inspiring to see the faith and dedication of those young men and women.
