Hi I'm Beth

Religion isn't just about believing, it's about doing and living. Choosing to live the gospel is the best decision I've ever made.

About Me

I'm 17 years old and currently doing my A Levels at college. I play the piano and the flute, I also enjoy baking and as most teenagers do, I love TV. I was a part of the first ever British Pageant and it was such a great experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in The church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. It is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and I believe it to be the absolute truth. I believe that Joseph Smith had a vision from Heavenly father and his son, Jesus Christ. Through them, he was able to found this church and translate the Book of Mormon which also contains the truth. I am so lucky to be where I am today. To have a family that loves me, friends that support and understand my religion, despite not being part of it themselves. I am so grateful for everything God has granted me with.

How I live my faith

Although my ward isn't particularly small, I am the only young women who regularly attends church. This has been a difficult experience for me as many of the youth who no longer attend church were my friends. However I have been able to learn that I am in charge of gaining a testimony of the church and that even if it seems like life is giving you opposition, you must fight it for your own sake. I am also very open about my religion and I'm not afraid to answer people's questions about the gospel and I try to explain it to the best of my ability.
