Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up near the Rocky Mountains of northern Utah. I love to coach gymnastics. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 4th child of the 6 in my family. I grew up loving the outdoors- hiking, camping, and climbing, and have always enjoyed being physically active. I was a gymnast for 13 years and have been coaching gymnastics for the last 7 years. I just graduated with my degree in Athletic Training, and love to help people stay healthy and recover from injuries. Some other things I enjoy are spending time with my family, giving service, snowboarding/wake-boarding, running triathlons, and learning all I can about how the human body functions and how to care for it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the joy and peace it brings to my life. There have been many times in my life when I have felt weighed down by my own circumstances and/or choices that my loved ones have made that have hurt me. These experiences often leave people angry, bitter, and closed of to others because of pride. Through much sincere prayer and deep pondering of the scriptures I have come to find peace and freedom from those negative feelings and to forgive the people I love and myself for our mistakes. I have a strong conviction to and testimony of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for all of mankind. I believe He lives and does have the power to save us from our sins and the sins of other people, and the power to help us all CHANGE for the better. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it multiple times and have found many answers to my life questions as I read and study it's pages. I am a Mormon because it helps me know who God is and how he feels about all his children here on earth, more than anything else I have ever felt or experienced.

How I live my faith

I live what I believe by trying to help those in my community feel welcomed and loved by God. I have served as a youth president for a 3 day camp for 16-18 year old girls, where I learned how important it is to be a loving leader. I have also served as a teacher in my college wards where I prayerfully prepare lessons from the scriptures. I have also served as an activity coordinator while in college. This gave me the chance to organize and plan events for large groups of college students to help them socialize and expand their network of friends.
